Add Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner to the Remake Chopping Block
Heat Vision reports that Alcon Entertainment, the folks behind the Sandra Bullock drama “The Blind Side”, is in final negotiations to acquire the film, television and ancillary franchise rights to Ridley Scott’s seminal sci-fi film “Blade Runner” with an eye towards remaking it.The man selling the rights is Bud Yorkin, a producer on the 1982 original, who will of course remain on the franchise as a token producer on the remake.Apparently already aware of the fanboy fury this is going
