A 16 year old high school basketball player named Wes Leonard sadly passed away last night after scoring a game winning shot in overtime, giving his team a perfect season.
Leonard, who played for Fennville High in Michigan, collapsed on court and had to be taken to Holland Hospital. Paramedics tried to perform CPR on him but it wasn’t enough, he was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to information shared by Holland’s spokeswoman Deb Paterson.
